Faces in Things / Faces in Nothing preview

I'm a media artist and designer based in Offenbach am Main, Germany.
My work explores the intersection of virtual reality, interactive environments, and artificial intelligence.

My practice explores how algorithms shape perception through generative processes,
3D animation, and spatial sound.

2022-2023

Water Gate

3D animation, Cinema 4D, Redshift

An animated short built as a visual interpretation of Bagir-Ba's track. The project stages a slow collision between architecture and coral growth, using time, ruin, and regeneration to reflect on the unstable boundary between civilization and nature.

2022-2023

The Alice Effect

Unreal Engine, VR installation, Cinema 4D Sound Design, 3D-printed object (sculpture), simulation

This project relates to a neurological condition known as Alice in Wonderland syndrome, or dysmetropia, which is common in children. It aims to explore liminal spaces, as they allow us to rethink how we perceive our surroundings and ourselves within them. By transforming a corridor into a stage with actors, every viewer can become a participant and reflect on the relativity of life experience.

2023

Dystopia: Water World

Game teaser, Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D 3D modeling, water simulation

A teaser for an adventure game set in 2050, where ecological collapse and flooding have turned clean water into a scarce resource. The work imagines survival as an ethical and atmospheric problem, combining bleak landscapes with speculative technological systems.

2024-2025

b/00t-ELIZA

Group project, robotic body design, prototyping

A compact speaking robot assistant developed for the performance group bladebabes. The project adapts the historical ELIZA chatbot into a live, mobile character, while the artist designed a modular plexiglass body, display face, and stage-ready housing for performance use.

2024

Correlations

Group project, 2D Motion graphics, After Effects

Motion graphics created for the AI Forum Correlations at HfG Offenbach. Typography, geometry, and a restrained palette were translated into animated schedules, livestream intros, and social media reels, extending the forum's visual identity into moving image.

2025

Faces in Things / Faces in Nothing

AI-generated sculpture, ComfyUI, Python object detection, face analysis

An installation with accompanying documentation that combines ComfyUI, Python, YOLO custom object detection, DeepFace, MediaPipe, and CLIP to analyze an AI-generated sculpture. The project was presented as a part of the TRANSFORM Conference on AI, Art, Design and Society at the Campus of Art and Design in Trier, Germany.

2026

Between Noise and Voice

Interactive generative sound installation, Max/MSP, Python, microphones, loudspeakers, stands, PC components, aluminum profil, acrylic glass, PLA filament, electronics

A generative installation developed for AI-Worlding at the Museum Angewandte Kunst (MAK) in Frankfurt am Main. Spoken voices are captured, analyzed in real time, emotionally interpreted, and transformed into looping phantom words within a quadraphonic field, while hardware noise becomes an audible part of the composition. The audio and analysis data are not stored permanently and are used exclusively for the duration of the interaction within the installation. Between Noise and Voice makes visible, and audible, that machine recognition of words and emotions is always accompanied by errors, breaks, and translations. At the limits of the audible, where language loses its semantic anchoring, an acoustic field opens up in which voice, affect, and calculation remain inextricably interwoven. The work invites reflection on the role of artificial intelligence in shaping perception and our reality.
